It's finally time to announce the winner of the People's Choice Best New Food for 2018. This year saw 56 new foods make it to the list, and it took a lot of tasting by a panel of judges to whittle eight of these foods down to the top three on July 17.
And since then, from Aug. 9-14, fairgoers have done a lot of tasting and voting of their own — trying all three dishes and casting their votes for their favorite new fair food for the People's Choice Best New Food Contest for 2018.
